For the upcoming session Tanja Bastamov will give a recap on ELO, VCL and Aalto Studios’ Virtual Production Workshop: How to visit locations and sets that don’t yet exist? How to operate the camera in a greenscreen studio when all you can see is…green? How to understand what the framed composition will look like, if most of it consists of digital elements? And how to shoot VFX scenes in-camera?
These topics and more were explored in Virtual Production workshop, an experimental 4-week workshop that was recently arranged as a part of ELO’s master programme. Tanja will give a short recap of workshop progress, the questions in focus and key findings.
